Project Overview

SV Contracts were appointed by Lithia UK to carry out a full refurbishment of the Ford dealership in Middlesbrough, delivering a modernised, customer-focused facility within a 12-week programme. Works spanned the office and back-of-house areas, the customer-facing showroom, and the full external site.

Office & Back-of-House Refurbishment

Following a full strip out of existing ceilings and flooring, SV Contracts completed the following works:

• Suspended ceilings and new flooring throughout

• Full decoration

• Electrical upgrades

• Supply and fitting of new fire doors

• Hygiene cladding

• New sanitary ware to the toilets

• Complete new kitchen including appliances

• Locker room benches and storage

Showroom Refurbishment

The showroom was fully transformed to meet Lithia UK's brand standards and deliver an improved customer experience:

• Strip out of existing floor tiling and floor chasing for new floor boxes

• New electrical and data upgrades

• New floor tiling, flooring and mat wells throughout

• New bulkheads formed

• Full decoration throughout

• New hospitality area with counter and hot drink points

• Overhaul of aluminium entrance doors and large aluminium sliding doors

• Sparkle clean on completion

External Works

A full programme of external works was carried out to enhance the site's appearance, safety and functionality:

• Groundworks across the whole site to accommodate new signage

• Supply and fitting of upgraded LED forecourt lighting

• Car park relining

• Roof clean, inspection and repairs

• External cladding to the front of the building

Outcome

Delivered on time within the 12-week programme, the project transformed the Ford Middlesbrough dealership across every area of the site.
