Evans Halshaw – Ford – Batley

The client, Evans Halshaw Ford in Batley, required remedial works to both the roof and internal areas of the dealership following significant water ingress. Upon inspection, it was identified that the existing roof covering had completely failed, resulting in widespread interior damage.

Scope of Works

SV Contracts successfully delivered the project over two phases:

• Phase 1 – Roofing Works (1 week)

  • Complete overlay of the existing dealership roof

• Phase 2 – Internal Works (2 weeks)

  • Removal of various internal partition walls

  • Installation of internal glazing to form a new viewing area

  • Strip-out of back-of-house (BOH) office areas to remove damp and make good

  • Full redecoration of BOH areas

  • Replacement of carpets in selected areas

Project Outcome

All works were completed within the agreed programme, restoring the building to a dry, safe, and visually improved condition. The client was highly satisfied with the quality and efficiency of the works, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing dealership operations.
